“When I first decided to sell my home, I honestly did not realize how much money I could be leaving on the table by selling it as-is. I inherited the home when my mother passed. The house needed repairs, updates, it had mold in the basement, open violations and some real preparation was needed before it was ready to hit the market. That is when I hired Alex Rubinstein and Real Estate Plan.
What made Alex different was that he did not just list the house — he brought in his construction company, called Restoration and Flood Pros, to help fix up the property the right way before putting it up for sale. They handled the repairs, improved the condition of the home, cleaned up problem areas, and made the property much more attractive to buyers.

Alex was amazing to work with. I had my house listed with another realtor for 6 months and they never got it sold. Once I switched to Alex he had photos done, and a virtual tour completed quickly, and his team started marketing immediately and we had a contract in a week for asking price. We closed in less than 60 days. I inherited this home from my parents and it needed 100’s of thousands of dollars’ worth of work. I would absolutely use Alex again for my next real estate venture.
Alex was extremely professional in the negotiation of our sale and followed it thru to a successful end. When my partner died, I decided to sell my home and downsize. I had a tenant in my 2-family home for 20 years. I gave them a break on rent. I helped their family through good and bad times; thinking they would pay it forward. When I first listed my home Alex told me we needed to deal with the tenant; I let my emotions get the best of me and ignored the advice.
The tenant not only stopped paying when I had told the tenant I was selling the tenant refused to get out. Luck has it that Alex’s Real Estate Plan team includes his wife’s Law Firm. The Real Estate Plan team handled the entire process of evicting. Also, his assistant Barbara Ner was on top of the whole process 24/7 and kept us up to date all the way.
